Universe

As a team of rangers, your mission is to ensure the well-being of the various species in your wildlife reserve while protecting them from potential threats.
In The Peak Team, a cooperative game by Scott Almes based on an inventive draft mechanism, 1 to 5 park rangers work together to explore the reserve, care for the animals, and complete their missions—before they run out of actions!

Gameplay

By reaching different locations and observing the local wildlife and flora, players complete their personal missions and earn bonuses. Each ranger has two mission slots that fill up as tasks are accomplished. To win, the rangers must complete all missions before running out of actions. Additionally, each ranger is slightly asymmetric and possesses unique abilities that can significantly impact the outcome of the game.

The game is built around a level-based system: the 5 game levels each increase the challenge and richness of the experience by introducing new mechanics and skills, such as a weather system. This makes Peak Team a tailored experience that appeals both to beginners and to seasoned solo and co-op gamers seeking a true challenge.

Accessible and brought to life by Crocotame’s stunning illustrations, The Peak Team offers a fresh take on cooperative games and is set for release at the Essen Spiel 2025 festival.
