13 Minutes, a sequel of sorts or different take on 13 Days, builds on the classic microgame genre heralded by Love Letter, but 13 Minutes uses the card-driven game mechanism to ensure that the five cards you play each game all adds up to agonizing choices!
Gameplay
13 Minutes is a microgame based on cards and difficult decisions. You play as either Kennedy or Khrushchev, with the goal of emerging from the crisis as a superpower.
During the game, you will play only five strategic cards, using them to influence the battlefields to gain majorities or manipulate the terrains.
Each card you play becomes a new battlefield, making the "world map" constantly evolve. Be careful, as every decision is crucial and could trigger a global nuclear war!
